    ​活动介绍                            


    设计作品往往表现出一个设计师的创意与性格,也是反映设计师特质的一面镜子。而设计师的想法与创作,往往和生长环境、成长背景、养成教育与生活方式息息相关,他们如何吸取这些养分且逐渐成为一位成熟的设计师?又如何取材创作出令人惊艳的设计语汇,并打造出国际市场接轨的设计品牌?


    本论坛邀请两岸具有杰出创作力、自创品牌与国际经验的四组设计师们,他们将各自分享设计养成到品牌之路的精彩故事,也透过相互对话彼此激荡出崭新的创意火花及宝贵经验,看看两岸设计师如何迈向世界的设计舞台。



    The design works usually present the personality and creativity, and also reflect the characteristics of a designer. All of these feature a designer’s background, character formation, and their daily lifestyle. Curious about how they absorb these experience and grown from rookie to mature designers? How did they draw materials from none to those “WOW” new ideas that amaze the public and connect to the global market?


    This forum invites four creative entrepreneurs from Mainland China and Taiwan, they will share their epic experiences of start-up stories. From the dialogue, different sparks will collide and unprecedented inspiration will be freed. Let’s check out together how the designers from the two sides across the Taiwan Strait walk into the world of the design stage!

    特邀主持人                            


    吴东龙Wu, Dung-Lung :学习设计、观察设计、书写设计,从事出版也从事设计工作。2001-2005于台北故宮博物院任文物数字化、数字博物馆研究。2006年起于华文地区出版个人全创作书籍《设计东京》系列,现为东喜设计负责人、作家、书籍编辑、视觉设计师与专业讲师,从事设计展览、书系与讲堂规划等工作。持续致力于探寻发现设计在城市与人群之间的无限可能。2013年起为《知日》杂志撰写专栏,亦参与广播节目《遇见设计》录制,并于全国参与讲座及主持活动。



    Wu, Dung Lung published a series of books called “Design Tokyo” since 2006, he is also involved in Exhibition design and planning for a series of book.


    He lectured hundreds of lectures, symposiums, and events in “Design”.  His books and designed works are widely seen and spread in Chinese Launguage Areas. He is also the founder and president of “Tomic Design Atelier”, searching continuously  for the  infinite possibilities of design between city and its residents.

    游声尧/Sean Yu


    生长于台湾台北,成功大学工业设计学系学士。从小喜爱酷炫的事物,大学毕业后因为买不到喜欢的戒指,决定自己动手设计并制作出水泥戒指,从此一脚踏入了『用水泥制作出酷炫的随身用品』的世界。在二十二岁,毕业那年,创立了自己的品牌,为期许不忘设计的初衷与热忱,故将品牌命名为二十二设计。设计灵感源自都市生活与建筑,希望将美好事物融入忙碌的都会生活之中,藉由产品让生活更美好。从2007年开始,推出一系列以『水泥』为主要材质的随身精品,包含戒指、耳环、书写工具、钟表系列等;产品一路从地摊、创意市集卖到了MoMA Design Store。最新产品『4th Dimension Watch四度空间腕表』是台湾群众募资最成功的产品之一,并持续创新探索水泥与设计之间的无限可能。



    Sean Yu, co-founder of 22 Design Studio, trained as an industrial designer in National Cheng Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan.


    Sean loves cool and unique products since he was a child. After graduation from college, he could not find a truly unique ring that he would like to buy, so he decided to design and make a Concrete Ring by himself, that was the beginning of a long journey of using concrete as material to make personal accessories.


    He started selling his concrete items from the street as an illegal street vender, then he joined holiday markets, now his concrete collection can be seen in many museum shops around the world. His latest design “4th Dimension Mechanical Watch” is one of the most popular crowdfunding project in Taiwan.

    陈禹,YEE SI品牌合伙人(yee-si.com)& ChenyuDesign艺术指导(chenyudesign.info),现工作生活于纽约。曾任职于全球闻名的Sagmeister & Walsh(施德明)及Pentagram(五角设计),毕业于美国马里兰艺术学院,并曾任亚洲平面设计邀请展、丝路精神西部国际设计双年展,字问字答-中文西文字体设计对照邀请展及中华“节”动态海报秀联合策展人,纽约艺术指导俱乐部会员、纽约字体指导俱乐部会员、美国环境图形设计协会会员、亚洲中韩设计协会会员,视觉战略联盟会员。他的作品曾荣获国内外众多设计奖100余项(包括全球著名的纽约TDC字体指导俱乐部奖、美国SEGD全球设计大奖、美国Communication Arts设计大奖等)及被50余本专业书籍收录



    Yu Chen is a co-founder of fashion brand YEE SI(yee-si.com) and award-winning art director of ChenyuDesign(chenyudesign.info). He lives and works in New York City. He graduated from Maryland Institute College of Art and had worked at Sagmeister & Walsh and Pentagram. His work has been recognized by industry-leading websites, blogs, publications, clubs and organizations including; The Type Directors Club, Communication Arts, SEGD(the Society for Experiential Graphic Designs), among many others.His works have won more than 100 design awards at home and abroad (including the world-famous New York TDC Font Guide Club Award, the US SEGD Global Design Award, the US Communication Arts Design Award, etc.) and have been included in more than 50 professional books.

    徐景亭/Gina Hsu



    实践大学工业产品设计系毕业,「东海医院设计工作室」负责人。参与过艺术家博览会、设计博览会、“乱,有秩序” 联展于台北市立美术馆、“工艺时尚”米兰家具展、Paris  MAISON&OBJET,自费到米兰家具展参加“卫星展”。


    不仅拥有纯艺术的思维,在商业领域上也从事多年产品设计企划,也跑过创意市集贩卖自己的作品。在2007年,前往荷兰 Design Academy Eindhoven 进修。希望自己能永远保持开放的心,在设计道路上走的长长久久。在东闯西碰的自我设计实验之路上,从向往华丽新奇到追寻内心的本质,现在,倾向跟农夫与黑手的工作态度与精神学习。并期许自己,不是只是为这世界多设计一件商品,而应该是为自己也为这世界多开一扇不同视野的窗。


    Gina Hsu (Dungshih Taichung, Taiwan) studied Industrial Design at Shih-Chien University, Taipei (TW) and pursued a Masters degree at the IM Master Program of the DAE, Eindhoven.


    In her relatively short, but very active design career she participated in a great number of design projects and her work was on display at various occasions. Currently she acts as lecturer at Shih Chien University, at the Department of Industrial Design, and works as project manager for "Dong Hai Hospital Design Studio". 


    Hsu participated in the arts and design fair "Beautiful Chaos" at the Taipei Fine Arts Museum, was curator for Taiwan Designers Weeks “City Yeast” project, and participated with “Yii” at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, Milan and Maison&Objet, Paris.


    Her work was nominated for several Taiwanese awards and is marked by a devoted attitude towards the design process but also full engagement in planning and business related aspects.

    东海医院在经历921地震后,致力用设计来说当地故事,从产品开发到策划展览,设计就像一把手术刀,东海医院如何持续深入在地,剖析个中的价值。


    Since the Earthquake 921,1999, DHH Design Studio, Dong Hai Hospital Design Studio, has been dedicating to telling the local story by design. DHH Design Studio uses design as a tool like a scalpel to dissect the context and figure out the value of neighborhood by developing products and curating exhibitions.

    周易/Zhou Yi

                  


    周易曾在伦敦中央圣马丁艺术设计学院学习工业设计,毕业后开始「BodyMemory身体记忆」。她化身“Dr.Zhou”,通过复制身体的不同部分,记录每个人身体背后独特的故事,并制作成有纪念意义的雕塑和配饰。希望以有趣、幽默又富有哲学意味的首饰,把身体变成一份独特而珍贵的礼物。



    Yi Zhou, who studied Industrial Design at Central Saint Martins, after graduation she start BodyMemory project. Yi Zhou as know as Dr. Zhou. She help people turn their body parts into jewelry. Not only create cast models of different body parts, but also record the personal stories behind them. BodyMemory is trying to freeze that moment in time, and every time you look at the cast, it will remind you of that memory. She use a playful approach to design thoughtful jewelry and turn the human body into a unique and precious gift.

    在本次分享中,周易会从设计师的个人经历出发,讲述身体记忆如何从一个想法逐步成长为拥有不同服务及产品的纪念性礼物品牌。实现从定制到产品,从快闪店到实体零售空间的转变。同时分享自己如何从教育经历、旅行中获得灵感,并和本地设计发生联系。 



    In this talk, Yi will start from her personal experience in order to tell the store behind BodyMemory. How the memorabilia gift project developed from an idea to a brand that has many service and product line.The changes not only from customize service to ready made product but also from pop up store to a physical retail store. At the same time, how to draw inspiration from education and travel, then connect it with localized design.
